City of Chubbuck (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:
Philbin Road/Chubbuck Road Roundabout / RFB 2022-03-10
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Chubbuck City Hall located at 290 E. Linden Ave., Chubbuck, ID 83202, until Thursday, March 10 at 11:00 AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
This project includes the reconstruction of the existing Philbin Road and Chubbuck Road intersection in Chubbuck, Idaho. Construction will include excavation, fill, asphalt pavement and concrete sidewalk and pathways, curb and gutter, and sidewalk, storm water conveyance and infiltration facilities, irrigation distribution piping, manhole and valve adjustments, signing and pavement marking, intersection lighting, erosion control, and other related work.

Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Solicitation packets (CD’s or via email – electronic versions) will be available starting at 8:00 a.m. local time on February 3, 2022. Electronic copy solicitation instructions, conditions and complete bid packets must be obtained at the City of Chubbuck, 290 E. Linden Ave., Chubbuck, ID 83202 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. An electronic version is also available through AGC, Boise, ID.
A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on February 17, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Chubbuck City Hall, 290 E. Linden Ave., Chubbuck, ID 83202. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
Instructions to Bidders
The City of Chubbuck’s Clerk’s Office will accept responses at 290 E. Linden Ave, Chubbuck, ID 83202 until 11:00 AM local time on March 10, 2022.
Bid opening will be at the Chubbuck City Hall, 290 E. Linden Ave, Chubbuck, ID 83202 shortly after 11:00 AM local time March 10, 2022.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Use & Development Commission of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on February 8, 2022 at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 290 East Linden Ave., Chubbuck, Idaho. In-person attendance is allowed. This meeting will also be available to the public electronically or by phone. Public hearings will be held with respect to the following items:
- An application for a Conditional Use Permit to construct apartments in the Agriculture (A) The site is under conditional approval to be included in the Commercial General (C-2) zone and comprises approximately 8 acres of land. Subject property is generally located on the north side of Knudsen Blvd. and east of Hawthorne Rd. in Chubbuck, Idaho in the NW ¼ of Section 10, Township 6 South, Range 34 East of the Boise Meridian, Idaho. The Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use map designates this area as Commercial. The application will be reviewed against criteria in section 18.28.020.C.5 of City Code. Type of Action: Decision.
- A proposal by City Staff to update several sections of City Code: Title 5.36, Sexually Oriented Businesses, correlating definitions of sexually oriented business with Title 18, Land Use; Title 16.12, Engineering Standards, correcting widths for standard streets; Title 17.12, Platting Requirements and Procedures, changing review requirements from calendar days to business days and removing requirements for reproducible Mylar copies of plats; Title 18.06 Land Use Definitions, changing Drive-in Establishment to Drive-in / Drive-through Establishment and changing Sexually Oriented Business references to Idaho Statues and adding a reference to City Code Title 5.36, Sexually Oriented Businesses; Title 18.08.040 Land Uses by District, changing Drive-in restaurant to Drive-in / drive-through establishment; Title 18.046 Off Street Parking Requirements, reordering land uses by group; 18.14 Landscaping, clarifying minimum area of landscape strips along rights-of-way; 18.20.040 Procedure for Approval of a PUD, reducing public hearing requirements to correspond with recently adopted changes in other sections of code; and 18.20.070 PUD Development Standards, establishing Minimum Front Yard Setbacks and re-ordering the waivers and adjustments for potential approval with a PUD. Type of Action: Recommendation.
