NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026 (FY 2026)
CITY OF CHUBBUCK

A public hearing, pursuant to Idaho code 50-1002, will be held for consideration of the proposed budget for the fiscal year from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026 and for the consideration of the proposed use or reserve of forgone property taxes for the fiscal year from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026. The hearing will be held at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 290 E Linden St, Chubbuck, Idaho at 6:00pm on August 20, 2025. All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should or should not be adopted. Copies of the proposed City Budget are available at Chubbuck City Hall during regular office hours. City Hall is accessible to person with disabilities. Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities related to the budget documents or to the public hearing please contact the City Clerk’s Office, 237-2400 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing. The proposed FY26 budget is shown below as FY26 proposed expenditures and revenues.

Proposed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026
Chubbuck Development Authority
Chubbuck, Idaho

A public hearing pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1002 will be held for consideration of the Chubbuck Development Authority (CDA) proposed budget for the fiscal year from October 01, 2025 to September 30, 2026. The hearing will be held at Chubbuck City Hall, 290 East Linden Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho at 5:30PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025. The CDA budget funds the programs, services and capital projects that the CDA Board has determined to be important to meet CDA’s strategic goals. All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such budget should or should not be adopted. Copies of the proposed CDA budget in detail are available at the City Hall during regular office hours (8:00AM. to 5:00PM. weekdays). Written comments may be submitted by email to Ashley Squyres, CDA Executive Director, prior to the meeting at: chubbuckura@gmail.com.  This public hearing on the proposed budget is required for formal adoption of the FY2026 budget.

City Hall is accessible to persons with disabilities.   • ALL children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • Bring games to play outside or enjoy the splash pad while you wait to enjoy the movie.
    • In case of inclement weather, movies will be rescheduled to the following Saturday.
    • Movies begin at dusk.
    • Follow all posted instructions for restrooms and other public area use.
    • Participate at your own risk.
