NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on November 6, 2024 at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 290 East Linden Ave., Chubbuck, Idaho. Public hearings will be held with respect to the following items:
- To take public comment on a proposed declaration of intent to exchange equal value land between the City of Chubbuck and Gary Brandon Ratliff in accordance with Title 50, Chapter 14 of Idaho Code. In summary: on October 16, 2024, and pursuant to Idaho Code § 50-1402, the Chubbuck City declared intent to exchange 2.05 acres of its property located on New Day Parkway adjacent to the Union Pacific Railroad (appraised valuation of $445,000) for 2.05 acres of property adjacent to the northern boundary of Capell Park (appraised value of $445,000), finding the exchange to be in the public’s interest and declared the value of the property it intends to receive to be $445,000.
Written testimony must be received by jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us at least 7 days prior to the hearing, shall comply with standards established in City resolution 2021-06. A complete description of each item is available to the public on request to jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us. Council packets are generally available the week before the meeting at https://cityofchubbuck.us/city-council/ or are available by contacting the City Clerk. Any and all persons may register comments, protests, or agreements on the hearing subjects being considered. Oral testimony concerning these proposals may be offered at the public hearing. Council may limit oral testimony.

The Chubbuck Police and Fire Departments will be hosting their annual Halloween Event on Thursday, October 31st, 2024 from 4pm to 7pm at Chubbuck City Hall at 290 E. Linden Ave. Those wishing to donate can either give a monetary donation or candy donation at the CPD. If you have questions, please contact 208-237-7172.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Use & Development Commission of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on October 8, 2024 at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 290 East Linden Ave., Chubbuck, Idaho. Public hearings will be held with respect to the following items:
- An application for a Title Map Amendment from Agriculture (A) to Single-family Residential (R-1) on approximately 47 acres of land located at 5110 Tree Valley Rd in Chubbuck, Idaho. At the meeting, the Commission will consider whether the proposal satisfies the approval criteria in municipal code section 18.28.050.B. Type of Action: Recommendation.
- An application for initial designation of property into the Single-family Residential (R-1) Land Use District (zone) that is proposed to be annexed into the City of Chubbuck. The subject property of approximately 3.12 acres is located at 12260 Hiline Rd, Pocatello, Idaho. At the meeting, the Commission will consider whether the proposal satisfies the approval criteria in municipal code section 18.28.050.B. Type of Action: Recommendation.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on September 18, 2024 in accordance with Idaho Code 63-1311A, and with respect to the following items: to hear public comment on, and to consider public comment regarding proposed fee increase on selected annual fee revenue collections beginning on October 1, 2024. The departments and/or programs noted below could: (A) exceed one hundred and five percent (105%) of the respective fee revenue collections from the previous year (a 5% increase), (B) be requesting a new fee(s) not charged the previous year, (C) be clarifying by changing the name of the fee, (D) be moving the fee(s) from the Chubbuck Municipal Code into the annually adopted Fee Schedule Resolution, and/or (E) be moving the fee(s) from one (1) exhibit to another for clarity. The proposed fee increases are due to additional cost of programs or an attempt by departments to recover costs through fees charged versus tax increases.
