Building Valuations:


The declared value which shall include the value of the work for which the permit is being issued, including materials and labor. The Building Official may require documentation of the building permit valuation as necessary to ensure correct valuations of projects.


Residential Valuations are calculated using the following amounts:

Residence, each floor $99/sq ft
Basement, finished $20/sq ft
Basement, unfinished $10/sq ft
Crawl Space $5/sq ft
Decks $5/sq ft
Covered Patio $10/sq ft
Carport $10/sq ft
Shed $15/sq ft
Garage $21/sq ft
