Transfer of Property from Chubbuck Development Authority to City of Chubbuck
A public hearing will be held on August 18, 2020 at 5:30 PM at the regular meeting of the Chubbuck Development Authority to consider the transfer of property from the Chubbuck Development Authority (CDA) to the City of Chubbuck for approximately 0.3 acres of property located near the new City Hall building at the corner of Burley Drive and E Linden, in accordance with Idaho Code § 67-2323. The CDA and City propose via memorandum of understanding to transfer the property for a sum of $51,796 and that the payment shall be in the form of a credit towards the funds owed from the CDA to the City for administrative reimbursements. The transfer of property is necessary to accommodate additional lands needed for parking area for the new City Hall facility. The land had previously been acquired by the CDA for the purpose of street and lot construction in accordance with the urban renewal plan.
