NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PROPOSED RESERVE OF FORGONE PROPERTY TAXES
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO

A public hearing, pursuant to Idaho code 50-1002, will be held for consideration of the proposed reserve of forgone property taxes for the fiscal year October 1, 2021, to September 30, 2022.  The hearing will be held at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 290 East Linden Ave, Chubbuck, Idaho at 6:00pm on September 1, 2021.  All interested persons are invited to appear and show cause, if any, why such reserve should or should not be adopted.  Copies of the proposed City Budget are available at Chubbuck City Hall during regular office hours. City Hall is accessible to person with disabilities.  Anyone desiring accommodations for disabilities related to the budget documents or to the public hearing please contact the City Clerk’s Office, 237-2400 at least 48 hours prior to the public hearing.

A complete description is available to the public on request to jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us. Council packet will be available upon request to the same email by August 25, 2021. Any and all persons may register comments, protests, or agreements on the hearing subjects being considered. Oral testimony concerning these proposals may be offered at the public hearing. Council may limit oral testimony. Written testimony must be received by jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us at least 7 days prior to the hearing, shall comply with standards established in City Code 18.28.020.D.7., and shall be considered public record.
