Notice of Public Hearing


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm on November 4, 2020. Due to COVID-19 and CDC best practices for social distancing, the public meeting will occur via web-conference and telephone. Details on how to attend the meeting and participate are found below. Public hearings will be held with respect to the following item:

  1. An application for a Change in Land Use District from Limited Residential (R-2) to Limited Commercial (C-1) on approximately 1.26 acres of land. Subject property is in the Southeast ¼ of Section 3, Township 6 South, Range 34 East of the Boise Meridian, Idaho, generally located at 426 East Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, Idaho. The Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use map designates this area as Mixed Use. Land Use Commission recommended approval. Type of Action: Decision.

A complete description of each item is available to the public on request to Council packet will be available upon request to the same email by October 28, 2020. Any and all persons may register comments, protests, or agreements on the hearing subjects being considered. Oral testimony concerning these proposals may be offered at the public hearing. Council may limit oral testimony. Written testimony must be received by at least 7 days prior to the hearing, shall comply with standards established in City Code 18.28.020.D.7., and shall be considered public record.

Starting Monday October 26, 2020 City Hall Lobby Hours will be
Monday thru Thursday from 7:30am-12pm (Noon) & 1pm-5:30pm
And Friday from 7:30am-11:30am by Phone or Appointment Only.
City Hall will be closed Monday thru Thursday from 12pm-1pm for the Lunch Hour.
This will allow us to better serve the Residents of this great CommUNITY before and after regular business hours.
We encourage Residents to still continue to make Utility Payments electronically, and to contact City Offices by Phone, Email, or our drop box as much as possible.
