The City of Chubbuck’s Human Resources Department seeks to ensure that great employees work for a great employer; an employer that succeeds in delivering quality services with maximum efficiency.

The Human Resources division handles matters related to Benefits/Wellness, Payroll Administration, Risk Management and Workforce Services.

  • Develops group benefit plans and wellness programs that support the city’s goal of recruiting and retaining a highly qualified and competent workforce.
  • Ensures that City pay systems are reasonably competitive in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable state and local wage laws.
  • Administers Workers’ Compensation program and safety training.
  • Supports departments’ recruitment initiatives and assists with hiring;
  • Administers performance review system and assists with employee coaching and development.
  • Develops personnel policies that promote a work environment that encourages healthy, respectful and rewarding employee relations.
  • Oversees citywide compliance with employment laws by providing training programs that promote employment best practices within the workforce.
