The City of Chubbuck’s Human Resources Department seeks to ensure that great employees work for a great employer; an employer that succeeds in delivering quality services with maximum efficiency.

The Human Resources division handles matters related to Employee Performance and Coaching, Employee Relations, Compensation, Benefits, Hiring and Employee Retention.

• Develops group benefit plans that support the city’s goal of recruiting and retaining a highly qualified and competent workforce.
• Ensures that City pay systems are reasonably competitive in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act and applicable state and local wage laws.
• Administers Workers’ Compensation program.
• Supports City recruitment initiatives and assists with hiring.
• Sets strategy for the employee performance review system and assists with employee coaching and development.
• Develops personnel policies that promote a work environment that encourages healthy, respectful, and rewarding employee relations.
• Oversees compliance with employment laws and assists with training programs that promote employment best practices within the workforce.
